It's kind of weird, with the hand warmer inside the glove making there be something more, but the lack of fingers making it be less, and she doesn't know how tightly she can hold on without it hurting. Gloves makes it hard to hold on anyways. She's overthinking things and decides not to do that anymore, making sure the door is locked behind them and doing those shuffle steps to make sure she doesn't slip before they even get to the lake itself.
Since she doesn't have a stall at the fair and lets Toki do his own thing for the most part, she doesn't go by the lake all that often either, surprised to see the hill there that kids are sliding down on— one of them seems to have lost his sled in the process and is just tumbling down the slope shrieking. It's hard to tell if he's laughing or crying or both. ]
