I remembered why I hate being like this in public. Itsuki's going to tease me later, I can already tell.

[ Oh. That other girl. Terry glances over in that direction and smiles at Kido. ]

You don't stand a chance against her. She'll just call you a boy toy again.

[ If it's 45 vs Terry, Kido knows who'll win. ]

[ She can't talk if she's dead. ]

I care about it. You're not that to me, and I don't want anybody to misunderstand our relationship.

Doesn't that mean you should correct them?

I did! I told her we weren't like that!

[ She yelled at 45 a lot!! And just never explicitly corrected her, because it shouldn't have been anybody else's business. Kido is the only one who's still hanging onto the idea of it being a secret anyways. ]

I know we're not like that, so that's all that matters to me.

[ Terry holds out Kido's shoes to her. ]

[ She's glad to finally get her shoes back and laces up her sneakers in silence. That's all that should matter but! But!!! She can't stand being teased. No wonder Akira got pissed off at her for doing the same... she wonders if it's not too late to ask Terry to kill 45. ]

Wanna head back home? It looks like you had enough of being outside already.

[reveilation]

Yeah. I'm ready to hibernate for the rest of winter. Let's go home.

[ Gestures at the rest of December. It's going to be really tempting to just hibernate under the kotatsu for the rest of the month, but she still has to go out and destroy the hospital before she's allowed to rest. ]

Yeah, let's go home.
