As Kido's memory of home is reset every time she gets thrown into a time loop thanks to Mary, her perception of how she keeps going back and forth between Hirajiro and home is slightly different. All of her memories of Hirajiro remain intact, but there are discrepancies she notices around the times of her death, where she has the feeling that something happened but she just can't remember.

HER MEMORIES ARE SORT OF A MESS. This is mostly because Kido's knowledge of home keeps getting reset, but her memories of Hirajiro aren't, so there's discrepancies between conversations she remembers, and how they fit into her personal timeline.
Kido's understanding of her current novel route: - dies at 6 y.o. in house fire and wakes up at the castle (remembers telling Terry this) - dies in the lake dungeon, goes home and spends over ten years there before coming back (remembers talking with Terry about being 17, so she must have spent ~11 years at home because no time passed in Hirajiro) - ??? something happens at home to trigger her coming back to the hospital (remembers crying over something, moping for more than a month, holding a funeral for somebody, but is unsure what happened because she has no reason to do any of that since her family hasn't died yet) - dies in Terry's dungeon, goes home, ??? something happens at home to trigger going back to Hirajiro (remembers telling Terry's Shadow that she has nobody left and so she doesn't care about dying, but is unsure what happened because she has no reason to say any of that since her family hasn't died yet) - dies in Terry's dungeon again, goes home, gets killed by Black Konoha, returns to Hirajiro (current memories from current timeline matches up)
Anyways, Kido's also fed up with all this dying, because she's missing what she believes are significant memories and feels like she's losing her mind.
